The Tom Dunne gallery is situated off a lane in central Darlinghurst on a small site that is hemmed in on all boundaries by 3-4 storey buildings. It contains two levels of gallery spaces over the lower two levels and an apartment on the upper level. The ground floor is capable of converting to parking when not in use, and the second level contains a 4.5m high off form concrete ceiling giving a space with volume that enhances large art works and encourages access up through the building. The residence can combine as an overflow gallery space and incorporates a roof terrace entertaining space with extensive city views.
